On June 12th , Dave Parramore will begin a journey that spans more than 2,700 miles: from Banff, Canada, to Antelope Wells, New Mexico; riding the Tour Divide in roughly 40 days.

But this ride is about more than miles. It’s about stepping into the unknown. Letting go of control. Embracing the challenges that come when there are no guarantees, no safety nets, and no clear outcomes.

Throughout Scripture, the number 40 often marks a season of testing, refinement, and transformation. For Dave, this journey is an opportunity to explore what truly sustains us when life gets hard….physically, mentally, and spiritually.

At Recovery RX, that message resonates deeply. Every day, we walk alongside men and women navigating their own seasons of challenge and transformation. Recovery isn’t a journey anyone is meant to take alone. It requires community, accountability, perseverance, and hope.

We’re grateful for Dave’s partnership and raising money for Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Home. His heart for serving others, and his willingness to use his platform to bring awareness to the work being done through Recovery RX. As he embarks on this incredible adventure, we invite you to follow along, pray for safe travels, and be reminded that even the hardest journeys can lead to new beginnings.

Because whether you’re crossing continents or rebuilding a life, none of us were meant to do it alone.

We are still blown away by the support shown at the Black Forge Tattoo event last month.

Because of this incredible community, Black Forge Tattoo donated $3,000 to Recovery RX + . On top of that, we raised an additional $680 in t-shirt sales, had 3 of our staff members get tattooed and connected with so many people asking how they could get involved and help.

Recovery and restoration don’t happen alone; it takes community, support, and people willing to believe that lives can change. We couldn’t do this without God’s grace and the people who continue to stand behind this mission every day. Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, donated, bought apparel, and believed in what we’re building together!

Make sure you go give a follow and book your next tattoo appointment!

There’s something deeply healing about serving others, especially when you’re still in the process of healing yourself.

When we show up to give, to listen, to lift someone else, we’re reminded that our pain has purpose. That even in our brokenness, God can use us to bring comfort, hope, and strength to others walking a similar road.

At Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Homes, we see it every day, men and women in recovery discovering that healing doesn’t just happen to you… It often happens through you.

We are so proud of the men and women in sobriety who continue to show up, not just for themselves, but for their communities. Their courage to serve while still healing is a powerful reminder of what restoration truly looks like.

Because when you serve, you connect.
When you give, you grow.
And when you pour out, God refills you.

Healing people. Helping people heal.
That’s the comeback. That’s the mission.
