Things are really tight right now having lost the entirety of my income, so when I woke up today and saw my account was negative by $140, my heart was in my stomach. 💀

(Apparently my email service was up for renewal, and the notices warning of the upcoming auto-withdrawal from my bank all went to an old email address that I’m locked out of)

I called GoDaddy to beg them to possibly reverse the charge and hold off a month or two until I’m able to work again, and after a long hold chatting with a supervisor... they informed me that they’ve decided to reverse the charge and just waive it until next year 😭😭😭❤️😭😭😭

Apparently, it’s been almost four years since I released my last album “San Francisco”.
As with most of you (many much worse off than I), these last few years have been a whirlwind of hardship, confusion, trauma, challenge, loss, and, life change.
Things feel upside down.
Dipping in and out of what I now realize was depression, I found myself with very little mental/emotional energy to write or create and, needless to say, self medicating didn’t help the situation.
I don’t know if it’s the little dopamine left behind from that Fool’s Spring, or the anxiety fueled adrenaline from the pending disaster, but I think I might finally be ready to share some new music... just in time for the end of the world. ❤️💀
