If you are local to Sacramento, I will be at Barnes & Noble Citrus Heights for a reading and book signing Saturday, Nov 9 at noon. Fall is the time when the diversity of wildlife at the American River is at its peak all waiting to enjoy a meal of salmon who arrive to span. For those who are interested, I will lead a brief walk along the river showing you the best place to view the salmon swimming and spawning and the boat launch ramp where waterfowl meet and eat.
