👶✨ New Parent Support Group is back this July!

If you're navigating life with a new baby, come find community with us. Starting in July, join Emily and her newborn every Thursday from 2:00–3:30 PM for a welcoming space to connect with other new parents.

Whether you're celebrating a great week, struggling through sleep deprivation, adjusting to a new identity, or simply looking for other adults who understand this season of life, you're invited.

Together we'll:

💬 Share experiences and practical advice
🌱 Practice mindful parenting
🤝 Support one another through the highs and lows of new parenthood

Each session begins with a short reading from *Everyday Blessings: The Inner Work of Mindful Parenting* and is followed by open discussion and connection.

🎆 FIREWORKS FOR A CAUSE! 🎆

We're excited to share that The Root is hosting our very first Fireworks Fundraiser with Phantom Fireworks this year!

If you're planning to celebrate Independence Day with fireworks, we'd love for you to shop our booth and support local families at the same time. Every purchase helps The Root continue providing community, connection, and wellness programming for families throughout the Greater Sacramento region.

We're also looking for volunteers to help staff the booth in 3-hour shifts throughout the week, especially during afternoon hours. Whether you can help once or multiple times, we'd love to have you join us!
