I am honored to share that I have accepted the role of Communications Director for the Male Breast Cancer Global Alliance.
Breast cancer is usually seen as a women’s disease, but about 1% of all diagnoses are actually in men. Sadly, because so few people realize this, many men are diagnosed much later than they should be. That’s why raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and supporting each other is so important.
In this new role, I’m eager to help shine a light on the stories and experiences of patients, survivors, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and organizations all working for better outcomes and greater awareness worldwide. Good communication connects people to the right information, encourages early detection, and brings the global healthcare community together.
This opportunity also connects with my ongoing work in health education, patient advocacy, rehabilitation, and public awareness through the AngioInstitute, DETOXSCAN, and REHABSCAN networks.
I’m grateful to the Male Breast Cancer Global Alliance leadership for their trust and can’t wait to contribute to this important mission.
Together, we can make sure no man faces breast cancer alone—everyone deserves awareness, support, and hope.
