Where did the time go?

Forty-four years seems to have come and gone in the blink of an eye.

When you’re little, you can’t wait for your next birthday—to be another year older and, of course, to get gifts (toys, not clothes… 😂).

But as you get older, you find yourself wishing you could go back in time. The only gift you really want is a few more minutes with the people who are gone… the people who helped shape you into the man you are today.

What I wouldn’t give for just a few more minutes with my parents. Just to hug them one more time, and to hear them tell me they love me and are proud of the man I’ve become.

I was fortunate enough to meet Tony Sirico a few times over the years. Every time, he was exactly what you’d hope he’d be—funny, larger than life, and always unforgettable.

To the world he was Tony Sirico. To millions of us, he’ll always be Paulie Walnuts.
