Nov 17th 2024, setting new pbs unexpectedly. Scale was teetering so called it 11lb 8oz. Finally a double digit. Not the one I was looking for today but I’ll take it. Especially being Nov in Nj on the reef. Caught it on the / SB710EX with an Bv400. Rod was built for the focus on an affordable sturdy tog rod. It did every bit what it was supposed to and more. Totally blown away by this rod. A few tweaks and we will have em at the shows. Unfortunately the stress that was put on this fish and the fight, it was completely blown out and wouldn’t have made it.
