I used to block the flow and ruin the dance without knowing it. (Business too!)

In Salsa, flow requires pliable arms. The moment something unfamiliar gets signaled by the lead, my old instinct was to tense up — arms going rigid, body bracing, unconsciously resisting what was being offered. It didn’t look like resistance from the outside. But the lead couldn’t move me. The dance stopped being beautiful. And I was working twice as hard just to stay in step.

I’ve watched myself do the exact same thing in business. When something unfamiliar comes — a price to raise, an offer to make, a conversation to have, an opportunity that feels bigger than what I’m used to — something goes stiff. My voice. My offers. My willingness to be led somewhere new.

Pliable arms are what make a beautiful dance possible. An open hand is what makes flow possible — in Salsa, in business, and with God.

This morning in Prosper Power Hour, we prayed:

**“God, help me see what I’m not seeing.”**

The truth I’m missing.

The lie I’ve been agreeing with.

The goodness I have overlooked.

The opportunity hidden inside the pressure.

The way God sees me.

The way God sees the person who has been difficult to love.

Romans 12:2 says we are transformed by the renewing of our mind.

Not by pretending everything is fine.

But by allowing God to change the way we see.

Maybe the prayer for this season is not only:

“Lord, fix this.”

Maybe it is:

**“Lord, help me see this the way You see it.”**
