For this week’s Tissue Tuesday, we’d like to put a spotlight on our CD117/c-Kit Recombinant Antibody.

CD117 is thought to be a defining marker for identifying Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GISTs) and furthermore can be used to distinguish these tumors from other sarcomas. As it drives cancer progression, inhibiting CD117 expression has become the focus of several targeted therapies in recent years.

Our CD117 Recombinant Antibody has been validated for positive IHC detection in GIST tissue and can be used to identify these tumors with broad confidence in sarcoma research models.
