POSITION OBJECTIVE: facilitates the flow of information and materials from Picking & Packing according to established production schedule by compiling and recording production data

Key Functions:

· Coordinate, sort and maintain production data and documents

· Communicate with other departments to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and

addresses complaints

· Ensure proper record keeping for the team in various spaces

· Assist in maintaining material inventory levels using Kanban inventory method

· Assist in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

· Support the Architecture for Excellent performance system

· Perform other tasks as required by Lead or Supervisor

Key Requirements:

· Proficient with Microsoft Office

· Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures

· Commitment to excellence and high standards

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Basic understanding of ERP systems

· Consistently meet whirlpool bath expectations regarding attendance, teamwork, and attitude

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· One year of experience in related field required

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Lift and move a minimum of 25 pounds without assistance (Notice: other production departments require

ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance

· Wear appropriate safety equipment

· Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel

· Flexible to over time as needed to meet occasional spikes in production demand

· Specific vision abilities required for this job include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral, depth, and

ability to adjust or focus

· A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are warm/hot and noise

level can be moderate to high

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
