A great tradition!

RETRO ROME – RFA vs. UFA Football, Sept. 19, 1980. “We didn’t play very well in the third quarter, we didn’t block and we just didn’t do things right,” Coach Tom Hoke said after his Rome Free Academy Black Knights topped Utica Free Academy, 28-0, at RFA Stadium Friday night. “But maybe that was because we were up by 21 points, I thought we played well in the other three quarters, offensively, and the defense played well the whole game.”
