Definitely one for the books!!!

We took on reconstructing this failed 200’ x 250’ building pad after multiple issues caused the original pad to fail:

* Improper water drainage
* Topsoil was never stripped before placing fill
* No compaction performed
* Incorrect material used

Our crew came in, removed all unsuitable and wasted material, and cut in a new subgrade designed for proper drainage. From there, we compacted everything correctly and finished the perimeter grading for future grass establishment.

Building pads are not the place to cut corners. Proper prep, drainage, material selection, and compaction are what determine whether a pad lasts for decades or fails in a few seasons.
