Rocky Mount, NC - The Alpha Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. proudly congratulates our very own Chapter Brother, Assistant City Manager Elton Daniels (AO Spr. ‘12), on his promotion and elevation as the new City Manager for the City of Rocky Mount.

Brother Daniels has consistently demonstrated professionalism, strategic leadership, and a
servant’s heart throughout his career in public service.

Prior to his role in the Twin Counties, he led
the municipal government of Selma for approximately a year and a half. His experience also includes serving as Town Manager of Sharpsburg and more than two and a half years as Assistant County Manager for Franklin County.

Born and raised in the Wilmington area, Brother Daniels is a proud alumnus of Furman University, where he played football and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. He later earned his Master of Public Administration from UNC-Wilmington, solidifying his foundation for effective leadership in local government.

The Alpha Omicron Chapter celebrates this well-earned achievement and honors Brother Daniels for his continued commitment to service and excellence. His ascension to City Manager is not only a personal triumph, but a powerful testament to the Cardinal Principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift that Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. proudly upholds.
