Fairfax Youth Move Chapter Wins $25,000 Grant
Last week, JSSA's Fairfax County Youth Move Chapter was presented with a $25,000 check at the Inova Community Health Luncheon in Virginia.
The Inova Community Health Grant will strengthen the Fairfax County Youth Move (FCYM) Chapter's efforts to promote youth mental health through expanded outreach and peer-led advocacy.
Funding will support the training and employment of a youth outreach worker who will build partnerships with schools and community organizations, engage more young people in mental health initiatives, and bring the FCYM art show to community venues to spark conversations about mental health.
The grant will also provide storytelling training for youth leaders, equipping them to share their lived experiences in ways that reduce stigma, encourage help-seeking, and inspire hope and healing among their peers.

🚨ONE DAY LEFT!
Tomorrow is the end of our fiscal year, and the final day to meet our $312,000 funding goal. These funds will directly fuel our highest-need programs: Mental Health and Well-Being, Holocaust Survivor Program, and Family Support Services.
We value being able to be a safe space for everyone, and to support and care for the most vulnerable among us. Please help us be here for our neighbors when they need us most. Every gift matters: https://ow.ly/msqW50Z2Iqa
