Midday panfish fishing on Honeoye Lake was supposed to be slow… until Nick Petrou started dialing in the LiveScope. 🎣
What followed was nonstop action with crappie, bluegill, pumpkinseed, and even a bass mixed in. Watching fish react in real time on sonar was hands down one of the most interesting parts of the day.

Great to see so many kids and families out on the creek catching stocked trout and enjoying one of Rochester, NY’s best local fishing events.
The Powder Mills fish hatchery plays a big role in making this possible, with support from the Riedman Foundation — helping keep this tradition going year after year.
