Finger Lakes Max-Trak Aerials
π¬ A360 ACRO CAM | Experimental 03 π | Chris Webster Home Build
Back in the air with another experiment using the new **DJI Avata 360**, this time over the latest Chris Webster home build project in Penn Yan, New York.
While VCB Vine Country Builders was busy installing the roof trusses and roofing system, I took the opportunity to capture a few experimental flights to continue learning the capabilities of this incredible new platform.
This isn't intended to be a polished productionβit's simply part of my ongoing journey exploring new flight techniques, camera movements, and creative possibilities with 360Β° aerial video. Every flight teaches something new, and each experiment gets me one step closer to unlocking the full potential of this amazing aircraft.
A huge thank you once again to Chris Webster Construction and VCB Vine Country Builders for allowing me to capture another milestone in this beautiful home's construction.
I'd love to hear your thoughts! Which shots worked? Which ones didn't? Feedback from fellow pilots, photographers, and viewers is always welcome as I continue refining my techniques.

Today, I'm stepping away from the drone for just a moment to share something a little more personal.
Seventeen years ago today, Ann and I stood together at The Little Church of the West in Las Vegas and began the greatest journey of our lives. Looking back through our wedding video and photos reminds me just how quickly the years have flownβand how incredibly fortunate I am that we've spent them together.
Many of you know me through Finger Lakes Max-Trak Aerials, but what you may not know is that none of this would exist without Ann. She's my partner in life, my biggest supporter, my sounding board, and the quiet force behind so many of the projects you see me share. While I'm usually the one behind the camera, she's the one behind me, encouraging every flight, every idea, and every dream.
To celebrate our 17th anniversary, I wrote a song and created this video using footage from our wedding day. It's simply my way of saying thank you... for 17 unforgettable years, countless memories, and for always believing in me.
Happy Anniversary, Ann. β€οΈ
I'd still choose you. Every single time.
Thank you all for letting me share this special moment with our Finger Lakes Max-Trak Aerials family.
