Today at my son Jonathan will be speaking.

I’ve watched Jonathan grow from a tender-hearted little boy into a mature man of God, and nothing could make a father more proud. The Apostle John wrote, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” (3 John 1:4) \That perfectly expresses how I feel.

Over the years, Jonathan has also developed into a thoughtful and insightful expositor of Scripture. In a time when there can be so much emphasis on style, trends, and presentation, we need a new generation of preachers who are deeply rooted in the Word of God. We need less trendiness and more biblical substance. Thankfully, there are some out there, but we need many more.

I believe Jonathan is part of that emerging generation of expositors s and I’m excited for you to hear him. Join us tomorrow at Harvest and come hear one of the young voices God is raising up for such a time as this.
