If you have any heart at all this will give you perspective and will break it a little at least. There are some angel’s who live a Hell you couldn’t understand.

Rest In Peace. Thank you for your service.

It is with great sadness that we report that an active-duty firefighter with Rio Rancho Fire and Rescue died unexpectedly earlier this week while off-duty. Lt. Colin Rice served as a firefighter and paramedic with the RRFR for nearly eight years. Colin was a valued member of the department and was an active participant in the department’s Peer Support Team, as a member of the instructor cadre, and helped to launch several public education initiatives. Colin was awarded the New Mexico EMS Provider of the Year in 2017, as well as numerous department accolades during his career. The department is working closely with his family to honor his years of dedicated service to Rio Rancho. Funeral arrangements are pending and the family has requested that their privacy be honored to allow them to grieve. We ask that you keep Colin’s family and his colleagues in your thoughts and prayers.
