NEW! Ancient Grain Sourdough Sandwich Loaves! (Say that 5 times fast. 😅)

This is a bread that we've have spent MANY hours over the last year, working to get it to a point where we can offer it.

1. 💵Cost. Ancient grains (particularly einkorn) are not cheap. So we organized group bulk buys with neighbors and friends to get them from a local farmer at discounted prices.

2. 🍞Nutrition. Whole grain flours deteriorate and lose nutrients over time, so we decided to grind all of it in our own kitchen. It goes from the whole kernel to the flour and into the bread within the same hour.

3. 🌾Organic. A lot of people struggle with gluten sensitivity. A friend told us that for many people it may actually be a glyphosate (Round Up) problem rather than a gluten one. Making sure everything is organic eliminates that.

Added on top of all of that it's sourdough, homemade, and the same thing we feed our own little family.

But actually, it really is. Because it’s sourdough.

This is the sea salt and herb, and it’s more than doubled in volume! These are going to be some super fluffy, savory rolls!! 🤤🤤🤤

I feel like some people who first encounter Knead Me Some on Facebook/Instagram have this idea that we are professionals…we’re not. 😅

And when I say “we,” I mean me, Holly. (Though often my kids are helping out!)

So, in case you were wondering why it looks so official here and maybe not very homegrown, here’s some reasons why:

- I’m also a photographer, and I like to take pretty pictures of the bread and rolls. Getting to bake and then admire my handiwork makes me so happy. 😁😁😁

- Early on in all this baking, I traded a photo session with a talented graphic designer friend, and she made me this FABULOUS logo! It’s so amazing, though, that I wonder if it makes me look TOO good! 😂
