Happy Friday! And welcome to my page. There's not much here yet, as I have just created this page to be the site for my consulting business, Neal Communication Strategies LLC. I'm going to use this less as a platform for direct marketing and selling things than a place share ideas, thoughts and musings about the intersection of media, business and politics.

My market is a marketplace of ideas. That's not for everyone. And that's ok.

As most of you know, I was a journalist for many years, most of that time spent at the Washington Post. For the last decade or so, I've been advising some of the country's biggest corporations, non-profits, U.S. government agencies and sovereign nations on media strategies (earned and social), crisis communications, public affairs strategies, etc. Most recently, I was a principal at the Podesta Group until the firm dissolved in November.

The ideas expressed on this page are my own. I will never expect everyone to agree with everything I say. I'll only ask that the conversation remain civil and professional. Criticize, disagree, but no name calling.
