This house means so much to us!
Unfortunately, it took a pretty hard hit during the big winter storm.
But getting started on fixing it up has been such a rewarding experience.

So these are 'before' photos and a 3D plan for the future decks.

This is a waterproof deck constructed on the second floor. Two sets of stairs and railings were also installed.

Another project is done. Here, we resurfaced the deck and replaced the railings.

This deck was so special and personal that we can’t help but share the story with you. I hadn’t seen my family for almost three years, and this summer my parents finally came to visit. My dad was so excited to help me, so I decided to build the deck with him. He’s almost 70 years old, but we worked together as equals.

The deck was built with access for the utilities for the hot tub, but that’s not the end of the story. After we finished, the painters came to do their job and completely messed up the surface. So today, we’re going to resurface it—but without my perfect helper. He went back home to Ukraine.

This was quite a challenging deck. We had to make a deck around a hot tub with a request to create access to connections for utilities such as water and electricity. The last photo shows the deck before the hot tub was installed.
