Hello all, I’ll post relevant things here as they come up. It was a busy summer but I’m excited to be settling into this new role.

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to tour the new recreation center construction site with my fellow board members. Behind me is where the lap pool will be. Can’t wait until it’s open!

Pickleball!

Learn the basics of Pickleball in a fun and welcoming environment. Members of the Redmond Rock Chuck Pickleball Club will be introducing the rules, etiquette, and strategy of Pickleball, followed by some hands-on play. Come have some fun, learn the game and meet other players in the community at this FREE event. All members, prospective members and the public are invited.

We need your help to win this election!

Redmond has a chance to flip the school board to a progressive majority that will protect education for all students. Canvassing for our candidates means going to a list of identified addresses of Democrats (& NO Republicans at the homes) with literature cards to let neighbors know that there is an election happening and that their vote is super important. Some recent local elections have come down to an actual handful of votes!!!

Canvassing takes about 1.5 hours or so for each turf, which is a list of identified homes. You will receive a packet of literature cards, a map with homes marked, and a list of addresses to go to. We can even try to pair you with your own neighborhood if it has not been canvassed yet.

You can canvass on your own time, any day, during the daytime. Grab a friend and a turf and go GET OUT THE VOTE!!!
