If you could peek into my studio right now, you would see these four chalkboards nestled underneath my work table, tucked safely away from little hands. There’s just something about these four. I can’t quite bring myself to gently erase away their dusty surfaces, each design a favorite story: the stirring promises found in Jeremiah 17 that a mother wanted to gift her children, a name sign for the nursery of a friend’s miracle baby boy, a Christmas design that made my heart sing, the word I chose for 2019...each design so different from the others, every one of them created with the very best I had to give... Perhaps some day I’ll say goodbye to these originals and welcome new favorite designs. For now, I’m going to keep reusing my other chalkboards as I gain inspiration from my four little personal reminders to pursue more of what sets my soul on fire. 🖤⠀⠀
