🌹 So close to finishing this one…
For my grisaille assignment, I chose a rose — soft, imperfect, alive.
I’m playing with the title “Embracing Beauty” or “Embracing Today.”

Flowers bloom and then fade, and I used to see them as fleeting or even wasteful — one more thing to take care of when I already had four little ones under my roof. But seasons shift. With just two teens at home now, I find myself drawn to their beauty, even knowing it won’t last. Maybe that’s the point — to pause long enough to see it, to embrace today.
