A Heartfelt Thank You β€οΈ
This week, we proudly celebrated the dedication and ribbon cutting of Reading Hospital - Tower Healthβs new Electrophysiology (EP) Lab β a transformative investment in the future of heart care for our community.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in our region, making access to advanced cardiac care more important than ever. Thanks to the generosity and vision of our donors, patients with heart rhythm disorders and other complex cardiac conditions will now have access to life-saving, state-of-the-art treatment close to home.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all who helped make this milestone possible, with special recognition to Marlin Miller, Jr. for his extraordinary leadership and commitment to advancing heart health in our community. We also thank our dedicated Board of Directors, physicians, caregivers, heart health team, hospital leadership, and philanthropic partners whose support helped bring this vision to life.
Together, we are creating a healthier future for Berks County β ensuring more patients have access to the innovative care they need, when they need it most.οΈ β€οΈ

A heartfelt thank you to Rob and Amber Campitelli of InHome Oxygen & Medical Equipment for hosting a truly special evening at LedgeRock Golf Club!β¨
Thanks to their incredible generosity, Reading Hospital Foundation was proud to bring together hospital leadership, physicians, donors, and Foundation members for an exciting conversation about the future of healthcare at Reading Hospital and our ongoing commitment to enhancing patient care.
This kind of partnership is what makes progress possible. We are grateful for the Campitellis' dedication to advancing healthcare and improving the lives of patients and families across our community.

On May 28, teacher Jill Faber and a group of 3rd graders from 13th and Union - Reading School District-Reading, Pa., brought sunshine to our McGlinn Cancer Institute! π
The students, joined by their parents and siblings, hand-delivered 150 care bags directly to patients receiving treatment. They also got a special "mini lesson" led by staff from across our care teams. The kids had the chance to explore equipment hands-on and ask questions, getting a real glimpse into the compassionate care our teams provide every day.
It was a beautiful reminder that kindness is contagious and that compassion starts early. π

What an incredible week! π
During our 2026 Employee Giving Campaign, held May 11β15, Reading Hospital - Tower Health employees came together to make a meaningful impact, raising more than $42,000 to support programs and services that matter most to them.
From the Employee Assistance Fund and Gwen's Closet to the McGlinn Cancer Institute and many other service lines, employees chose to invest in the areas that have touched their lives, their families, their colleagues, and their patients.
The week was filled with generosity, excitement, and plenty of funβfrom soft pretzel and donut handouts to special raffles, including the chance to have your car washed by Reading Hospital and Tower Health leadership!
Every gift, no matter the size, helps strengthen the programs and services that support our caregivers, patients, and community every day.
Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, and helped make this year's campaign such a success. Together, we proved that meaningful change begins from within.
β¨ Because when it comes to caring for our community, it starts with us.

We were honored to welcome U.S. Representative Chrissy Houlahan to Reading Hospital - Tower Health for a special visit with leadership, including staff and board members who are deeply committed to the health of our community.
Rep. Houlahan toured several areas of the hospital, including our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a place where some of our smallest, most vulnerable patients take their first brave steps toward a healthy life. Moments like these remind us why the work we do every day matters so much, and why the support of our community and elected officials is so meaningful.
Thank you, Rep. Houlahan, for taking the time to see firsthand the care and compassion that define Reading Hospital.
