What is the Jersey-Atlantic Wind Farm?
The Jersey-Atlantic Wind Farm features five 397 foot tall turbines that provide electricity to more than 2,000 New Jersey homes without polluting the environment. The plant is currently 5 years old and opened in April of 2006. It is the first wind farm to be built in New Jersey and the first coastal wind farm in the United States.

How does New Jersey use wind power?
At this time, New Jersey does not use a large portion of wind power. New Jersey is 33rd in the country with about .03% of its energy coming from wind energy.
