Seeing Through Seneca

Happy 4th of July! ❤️🤍💙 This is my very first Independence Day with Seneca, and I couldn’t have asked for a better one.
We had a family cookout, and Senny got to enjoy some watermelon, a dog-friendly ice cream from a local ice cream shop, and nearly three hours of swimming. She may be tiny, but she’s an absolute little firecracker with the biggest personality!
Despite all the fireworks that have been going off for the past several hours, this brave little girl hasn’t been phased one bit. I’m so proud of her.
I hope everyone had a safe, fun, and happy holiday! 🇺🇸::

🌎 Happy International Guide Dog Day! 🐾💛
Today is Seneca’s very first International Guide Dog Day as a working guide dog, and my heart is so full. I am beyond proud of how far we’ve come as a team over these past nine months. It feels like just yesterday we started this journey, and now we’re already approaching our one-year anniversary together—time truly flies.
This little spitfire is not only an incredible guide dog, but also the sweetest, most devoted companion. I feel so lucky to have her by my side, guiding me through life with so much love and determination. 💕

The dog is wearing a brown harness with a white handle and an orange strap that has black writing on it.
Around the dog’s neck is a pink bandana patterned with large red strawberries and green leaves.
The dog is in mid-step, head slightly lowered, moving forward with purpose.
Next to the dog, part of the person’s body is visible from about mid-torso down.
The person is wearing a light-colored quilted coat, dark blue patterned pants, gray socks, and light blue athletic shoes with pale pink laces.
The surface under them is cracked gray pavement, and there is bright green grass along the edge of the path in the background.]
