My port-hole mirror on a rope wasn’t cutting it anymore. I’m so happy with this mirror upgrade! It has a silver metallic finish and lovely curves that complement the wallpaper.

Bathroom mirrors really are the jewelry of the room.

I need you to help pick my laundry wall. I’m officially in a design dilemma.

This is less about a laundry room and more about finally finishing things in the house that tired me put off ‘til “later.”

9 years of saving ideas and overthinking projects and “Later” apparently means now 😅

So yes, I’m giving our laundry room way more attention than it deserves. This little wall sent me into a deep design rabbit hole with my AI assistant and I need a tie-breaker.

No-this Amazon light fixture is not actually a Clapper light, but the transformation did make me dramatically applaud in my own laundry room...by myself.

Let’s face it, I can avoid this room as much as I want, but that won’t change that besides the bathroom, this is probably the most-frequented room in our home (when we are fully awake). So we might as well make it nicer.

I’ve been slowly trying to make this room feel less “forgotten utility closet” and more “cute little space I don’t completely avoid,” and this light made a bigger difference than I was expecting.

This is what happens when your designer brain has a very specific vision… but your mom brain is trying to be selective about where the budget actually goes.

I don’t craft because I’m crafty. I craft because I’m picky.

I love a good splurge when it’s worth it, but sometimes the expensive look I want is something I can recreate with the right finish, texture, scale, and a little stubbornness.

So for the little custom-looking details? Sometimes the answer is hot glue, spray paint, rope, ribbon, and saving the splurge for something else.
