Do you know why the Raleigh Christmas Parade takes place before Thanksgiving? For the last 60 years it’s been done this way to help downtown shops gain exposure and customers before the holidays. (Plus better chances for good weather)

What parade is your family planning to attend this year?

I know Halloween events are on everyone’s mind but this weekend is going to be a wonderful weekend to get outside and enjoy all the beautiful fall color!

One of our favorite corners of Raleigh…

is a nonprofit urban farm in downtown Raleigh connecting and nourishing the community through regenerative agriculture! 🧑‍🌾

Every Wednesday April-November from 4-7pm they host a “Pay What You Can” farm stand to purchase produce grown in the garden ☺️

We love picking up a beautiful bouquet and trying a new veggie! Plus they added these fun chalk tables for kiddos to color.
