Our 3 foster kitties are still waiting for their furever homes. They can be adopted together or separate.

🪴 Ivy (gray & white) – Our little fighter who had a rough start but has blossomed into a happy, healthy kitten.
🌿 Fern (tabby & white) – The curious adventurer with a heart full of love and a playful spirit.

**A Letter From Opal 💜**

Hi, I'm Opal.

I've been thinking a lot lately, and I was wondering... maybe my forever family just hasn't met me yet.

Last October, someone found me wandering the streets with my puppies. I was scared, tired, and doing everything I could to keep my babies safe. The nice people at Meraki took us in, and for the first time in a long time, I didn't have to worry about where we'd sleep or if we'd have enough to eat.

One by one, every single one of my puppies found a family of their own.

I was so happy for them.

Then I waited for my turn.

And waited.

And waited some more.

It's been many months now, and I'm still here.

Please don't think that means something is wrong with me. It just means my perfect family hasn't found me yet.

I love my foster mom. She makes me feel safe and loved. I love my dog foster siblings too—they've helped me learn that the world isn't such a scary place after all. The cats don't bother me either. I even live with two little humans! The younger one is full of energy and sometimes moves really fast or gets a little loud. I'm very patient with him, but if I'm being honest, I think my heart would be happiest in a quieter home where life moves a little slower.

I'm the kind of girl who just needs a little time. Once I know I'm safe, my sweet personality starts to shine. I don't ask for much—just patience, kindness, and someone who won't give up on me while I learn that this is finally my forever home.

If you already have a friendly dog, I think we'd make a great team. Having another confident pup around really helps me feel brave.

The people at the rescue think I may have had puppies before the litter they found me with. I don't know if that's true, but I do know I've spent a lot of my life taking care of everyone else.

Now...

I'd really love for someone to choose me.

To tell me I don't have to wonder anymore.

To tell me I'm finally home.
