So I’m going home from rehab tomorrow!!!!! This is the first time I’ve been back home since the accident. I’m very nervous and anxious to see where I fell again. Every time I close my eyes, I hear the snap of my ankle and see it give out. I still have to use a hospital bed, wheelchair, walker and bedside commode at home. I’ll be glad when I sleep in my own bed again. It won’t be long hopefully. You don’t realize what you take for granted until it’s taken away from you. Just the fact of being able to walk to the kitchen or using the bathroom by yourself! A positive thing: I walked 200 feet yesterday!!!!!!!!

So……I wanted to let you know I’ll be taking a break from photography. On Wednesday 9/11 I passed out at home and broke my left leg in 5 places and had to have a metal rod put in. I also broke 4 metatarsal bones in my right foot. I’m not allowed to put weight on them for eight weeks so I’m learning how to do normal life without touching the floor! I must say it’s HARD! So just be patient and I’ll make a comeback for you guys!
