Altered Pine

There’s a fine line between taking on a fun project... and wasting valuable time.

I bought this dresser for just $30, but it’s definitely seen better days. The veneer is chipped and peeling, and the back will probably need to be replaced.

Instead of trying to make damaged veneer look perfect, I’m thinking outside the box. What if I covered the worst areas with trim or something along those lines?

The bones are solid. The drawers all slide smoothly. It has potential...

The question is... can we turn this disaster into something beautiful?
