Last year on this day if someone told me I’d be spending the entirety of my 37th year living in this weird pandemic/quarantine/time-bending surreal reality, I would have never believed it. I spent the night partying with a group of beloved friends, some of whom I then wouldn’t see for the next ~6 months due to lockdown starting a couple of days later.
And then the year that followed was... weird? Terrible? But also pretty cool? It slowed evvvvverything down and showed me the things that genuinely, truly, honestly and authentically mattered. And I’m more thankful for that than I could possibly have imagined on March 13th of 2020.
So here I am, heading into year 38, and I’m ready. Like, really ready. Bring it. Let’s see what’s next 💕 (📸 )

When everything feels like it is falling apart, I typically to turn to cooking in order to distract myself from the world outside our front door.
