Last night, "Glass Cage" received the award for Best Narrative Short Film at the Deaf Film Festival in Austin, Texas.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring this film to life — especially our outstanding cast and crew: Bellamie Bachleda, Ian Sanborn, Regan Thibodeau, Ruan Du Plessis, Bradley Gantt, Charlie Ainsworth, Nikolya Sereda, and the generous support of the Maine Association of the Deaf.

This story could not have been told without the collaboration of Angry Deaf People, Bus Door Films, and the beautiful, haunting script by Charlie Ainsworth.
