Strength In Self
12/03/2026
This isn’t a sympathy post.
I’m not looking for pity.
I’m still standing.
And honestly, what I’m walking through isn’t worse than what others carry. I’ve watched some pretty incredible women fight dragons far bigger than mine.
Some of them won.
Some of them didn’t.
But every single one of them was brave.
To say I’ve been through worse would be an understatement.
I’ve been brought to my knees before — in front of people, in front of doctors — begging to know what I did wrong.
No child.
No teenager.
No adult.
No human being should ever have to beg like that.
So this season?
This isn’t taking me down either.
This is simply me learning to live with — and manage — a chaotic nervous system that I could have never 100% prevented.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
I’ve been in the fire before.
And the fire teaches you something important:
You don’t run from it.
You walk through it.
If you’re walking through your own fire right now… keep walking.
And if you feel no one is cheering you on … I AM!!!
Keep going ❤️

I need to say something honestly and be transparent about it.
This season in business has been hard.
Competing against AI.
Influencers with massive reach.
Big box wellness brands with unlimited ad budgets and supply.
Building something thoughtful — without funding to pour into advertising or supplies.
Navigating rising costs, economic uncertainty, and policies that often make it harder for small businesses to stay afloat.
There have been moments I’ve wondered if small, heart-led businesses still stand a chance.
It’s also challenging to watch wellness advice handed out by people without training or lived experience — stepping into the role of “coach” because the internet makes it easy.
And now we’re in a culture of weight loss shots and quick fixes.
Fast results.
Minimal depth.
Very little conversation about sustainability, nervous system health, or long-term stability.
Health has become content.
Coaching has become aesthetic.
Transformation has become rushed.
But here’s what I know:
Information is everywhere.
Real guidance is not.
Quick tips are abundant.
Steady support is rare.
AI can generate plans in seconds.
It cannot sit with someone rebuilding trust in their body.
A quick fix can change a number on a scale.
It cannot teach someone how to live well long term.
Influencers can inspire.
They cannot walk with someone through fear, flare-ups, and real life.
I don’t want to be another voice adding noise.
I want to help people feel steady in their bodies again.
I’m not here for hype.
I’m here to do meaningful work — and to support the people who truly need it.
If you’re still here, thank you.
This work still matters — even as the market shifts.
And I’m not done.

It’s cold outside—and this is exactly when support matters most.
I’m opening 2 priority client spots this week for people who want to keep moving forward with their health, even when winter makes everything feel heavier and slower.
We’re still in Freedom February — Week 1, and freedom right now doesn’t mean doing more. It means building nutrition, habits, and stress support that work in this season, not against it.
I work with clients on nutrition, healthy habits, and stress reduction so progress feels steady and sustainable. Nervous system support is part of the work, but the focus is whole-health change you can live with long-term.
My coaching style is calm, grounded, and direct. I’ll support you—and I’ll also help you follow through when motivation dips.
✨ Bonus (this week only):
The next 2 people who book a free consultation will receive:
a 30-minute follow-up call
a nutrition + habit reset plan for 1 week
No pressure. No fixing. Just a real conversation about where you are and what will help you feel more steady and free—right now, not “someday.”
If this resonates, comment “ready” or send me a message and I’ll share the details or book today https://koalendar.com/e/meet-with-coach-laura-k
