Have you already had your baby and wondering if it’s “too late” for newborn photos?

Yes, it’s true that if you want the classic, sleeping baby curled up photos, those do need to be done in those first 2 weeks ideally.

But maybe you were so busy getting everything ready for baby, or maybe you had to spend time in the NICU, or you had too much on your plate to schedule photos.

I get it. And I’m here to tell you that it’s okay, and there is no wrong time to have photos taken of your baby.

We may not get the curled, sleeping baby photos, but we will get photos with eye contact, a higher chance of smiles, and some extra rolls since they’ve had more time to put on the pounds.

If you missed that early 2 week window, I promise you won’t regret getting 1, 2, or 3+ month photos of your little love. They’re only going to keep growing.

Making time to intentionally slow down and honor each milestone throughout your baby's first year in a cohesive style will make your mama heart ache in the good way in the coming years. I promise.

Milestone sessions are filled with fun, games, silliness, and basically just making a fool of myself to get the best photos of your little. These "sitter" sessions happen around 7-8 months and can be done in your home or in studio.

There’s a tactile, almost ceremonial quality to holding tangible photo keepsakes in your hands. The weight, texture, even the slight imperfections - imbuing a sense of authenticity. There’s something about the senses of sight, touch and even smell and the sound of paper that cement these images into our minds and hearts.
