David Wojnarowicz died on this day in 1992 at the age 37 years old. This is the third collaboration with the David Wojnarowicz Foundation, inspired by his painting "F You F F ". As a q***r person who came out in 1985, and followed his work and writing, I am forever grateful for the work of all the activists who fought for our rights, that I'm still here, and thrilled beyond belief to be working with the foundation to help ensure his body of work is not forgotten.

A percentage of proceeds is donated to the Wojnarowicz Foundation for their ongoing work preserving the artist’s legacy.

Caught this post of John Lewis's quote on the IG scroll from : "At Yesterday’s GOOD TROUBLE LIVES ON rally and march to 26 Federal Plaza, where ICE continues to torment our neighbors." It was the inspiration for our "GOOD TROUBLE" collection.

As Bear Week winds down, I had a chance to catch the news before bed.

"Reports have emerged that David Brouillette, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer who shot and killed Joan Sebastian Duran Guerrero in the United States, was hired despite a troubling history of violent behaviour.

"On Thursday, The Associated Press and CBS News published reports from Brouillette’s relatives that he struggled with mental health issues from an early age. They questioned his fitness to work as an ICE agent...

"Brouillette is accused of the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Duran Guerrero near his home in Biddeford, Maine, on Monday. That incident came just several days after the shooting death of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo by an ICE agent in Houston, Texas, on July 7...

"At least 10 people have been killed in incidents involving ICE agents since Trump began his immigration crackdown, which has been criticised for pursuing aggressive methods and violating civil liberties." Al Jazeera

We have a full collection of "ICE is English for Gestapo" merchandise supporting Indivisible; our third collaboration with Michele Pred.
