This past spring, I took my art outside—where much of it is created—for a fun portrait photoshoot with Thomas Alan Productions. Thank you to Tom for capturing some unique photographs of me and my art for a cover feature in Rocky Point Neighbors magazine! Kudos also to Thomas A. Russell, Content Coordinator for Best Version Media, for his generous and thoughtful article on my art and interview.

I was honored that this painting—one of my favorites—was awarded The Jean And Kahlil Gibran Award For Excellence by curator Carl Belz, Director, Rose Art Museum, at the Copley Society of Art.

Created by a similar scraping process common to other paintings of this period, it is made of marble dust-whitened tones of yellow and green. Here I distinctly recalled the hours spent at the tip of Cape Cod on the breakwater, jumping off into shallow waters, rocks glowing with green sea vegetation and golden light.
