Cute story from the big chair tonight:

A boy of six years (he was quite insistent that he was six) sat in my lap. “Do you have anything you’d like to tell Santa?” I asked. He nodded and got a very serious look on his face. “A hand dryer,” he solemnly answered. “A hand dryer?!?” I asked incredulously. “Uh huh.” He assured me. “Just like the one Nora uses in the lady’s restroom.”

“I’m not sure the elves made a lot of those this year”, I answered. “What would be your second choice? Just in case you understand.” He stopped for a moment and said, “hmmm. I like LEGOs.” I quickly replied with, “Those are quite popular this year.”

I never did ask who Nora was or why he was intimately familiar with lady’s restrooms. There are just some things Santa will never know.

Well, our last Christmas in July appearance is complete. Unless something exciting happens, Mrs. Claus and I will be in the bakery and workshop until the October photo sessions and then things get a bit hectic.

We’ve just accepted our first bookings for two days in 2030.

We already had bookings for 2025 (or course, as we are almost filled for this year), as well as 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029.

If there are specific dates you need Santa, it’s never too early to book!
