Your home is teaching your kids… every single day.

Different outcomes.

We need URGENT change in our education system. HELP me achieve this goal
I started this project called Be Useful because I was looking at young people today and thinking — how do we raise kids who won’t fall apart when life gets hard? And what skills should I be teaching my kids that will still make sense 10–20 years from now?
What skills are going to survive AI and all this chaos?
I’ve been doing quite a bit of research, and the consensus is that we should focus on teaching self reliance, social skills like empathy, listening, communications skills, critical thinking, public speaking, practical skills, money literacy, creativity, flexibility and entrepreneurship and emotional regulation. The current educational system doesn’t teach these skills. And as two working parents, we cannot teach everything, and when!? The education system must change. It is clear, as college tuition is sky rocketing, meanwhile, there are no jobs for the graduates and they are un hirable. They lack mush needed soft skills.
There are some new, private schools and teaching methods taking off that I’m looking into, but my goal is ultimately to help change the public educational system.
