In August, a package delivered by FedEx was stolen from in front of my office door. I had/have NO IDEA what it was or who sent it. I tried in multiple ways to get through to a human at FedEx to find out who’d sent the package, but without a tracking or tag number, I basically got hung up on by their automated systems.
We had another package delivered by FedEx stolen off our front porch at home to days ago. Once again, other attempts to contact FedEx were frustrating, so I reached out via FB Messenger & Instagram IM. I actually got through to humans! Unfortunately, they won’t tell me who sent the stolen packages so we still don’t enter know what was stolen. Twice.
Were they presents? (Paul’s birthday was last week.) Marketing materials from vendors? Legal documents? Orders that were delayed because of supply chain issues?
The FIRST PERSON with who I spoke about this right after we saw the video of the theft said she experienced the same frustrating thing. Theft of delivered packages is widespread these days: That means that millions of people have also been denied the chance by FedEx to remedy their situations.
This is a simple ask: let customers know who sent packages that have been stolen.
I’m going to start letting people and companies from which I order that I’m unlikely to receive packages sent by FedEx & that I’d prefer that they use couriers with decent customer service.

3 days after Infini face/neck/chest. I do have eye makeup, including undereye concealer, on. Oherwise, makeup free. My neck looks dry, but not bad for downtime!

Hi folks. I'm afraid we need to postpone this weekend's event due to the incoming snowstorm forecast getting worse by the minute. Please stay safe and warm this weekend, and find joy in the little things! We'll post an update for the next event soon.
How Do I Make My Skin GLOW?
A patient with a new, national modeling contact (congratulations!!!) recently asked me, "How do I make my skin glow?"
I get that question frequently. This is my answer:
1. A Green Smoothie - Every Day:
Fill a Vitamix (my favorite - or any heavy duty blender will work) with raw greens. My go to greens are: kale or collards without stems, spinach, chard, or dark leaves of romaine with stems. Change them up or mix them regularly
Add fresh juice of one lemon (or lime)
Add 1-2 inches of fresh ginger root, peeled
Add seasonal fruit for flavor
winter=apple or pear
summer=watermelon, peaches, fresh berries
any season=fresh pineapple, frozen berries or other whole, plain fruit - never sweetened, juiced, or canned
Add seeds, protein powder, fat, or other add-ons. Let this be a simple, nutritional powerhouse
Add water or ice as needed to help blend
2. A Rich, Tinted Moisturizer - My favorite is Dr. Hauschka’s Tinted Day Cream.
3. A Laser Carbon Peel Facial - This is a great way to refresh your skin and help give a bright complexion. Carbon peels are frequently done 3-4 times per year, or to look your best for a big event get a carbon peel at least two weeks ahead of time. Our own expert Mary Coverdell Knudsen can help explore options.
