What a sweet, funny, and emotional Christmas romance. This is my first romance with a pregnant heroine and a fake engagement, which helped add to the drama of the story. I loved Rafe and fully empathized with his struggle to open himself up to love again after a tragedy. Kaitlyn was strong and independent, so it was nice to see her journey to let down her guard and trust that she could rely on a partner. If you like small town romances and big families then you’ll want to cuddle up with this book as we head into the holidays.

Cozy Saturday’s are my favorite because I know I still have one more day to enjoy myself. Sunday’s often end up feeling more stressful because I’m trying to get everything done before the work week starts and I’m back to being exhausted. Hope you got to enjoy your Saturday doing whatever makes you happy! I read, watched tv, and iced my sprained ankle. It’s definitely been nice to slow down after the holidays and enjoy a lazy weekend.
