Brooklyn Community Garden
08/06/2014
Thanks to the youth from LAST(Learning and Serving Together) who came out to the garden in July to move some chips, put down some w**d block and pull some w**ds.
Remember to come voice your opinions about the Orchard Garden at 7pm, Monday, March 10 at Meals on Wheels/ Sacred Heart Villa. We look forward to seeing you!
We need help to move the chips out of the street. The pile is a lot smaller than it was thanks to hearty (and good-hearted) volunteers who've pushed many wheelbarrow loads up the slope. The beautiful, dry weather has made the wood chips a lot lighter than they were after the big rain storm we had a couple of weeks ago. If you can give an hour or two on Saturday, the garden will thank you. And Aurora promises treats to the volunteer crew.
What: Let's Move Those Chips
When: Saturday, October 26, 11 to 3
Bring work gloves.
