Got to do a wee bit of (way) off Broadway acting this weekend to document this proposal.

Proposals I’ve shot in the past have all been at public spots where it would be pretty normal to see a photographer.

But in this case Adam had a lovely private tasting area reserved at . The quandary was that the spot sits upon a plateau in an open field overlooking the Columbia River Gorge with a short uphill hike to get there & a random guy wandering up there taking photos would stand out like a sore thumb.

So I proposed (pun intended… sorry) to Adam that I pose as someone working at the winery. I loaded a picnicky looking tote with my cameras & the kind folks at Syncline obliged & had me deliver their bottle of sparkling to Adam & Emily. I dropped off the bottle, then asked if I could “snap a few photos of you two for our socials” & after doing so, Adam took it from there.

Emily said “yes”, we took more portraits & I shall be awaiting calls from casting agents.

Congratulations, Emily & Adam!

Happy Pride Month! It’s been an honor to document these beautiful unions over the years.

Did some product shots yesterday… for myself! (I’m a difficult client 😉)

But seriously, over the past couple of years, I’ve been getting back into an old love of mine: printmaking. More specifically, relief printmaking. I started with a whimsical series of anthropomorphic animals, which began with the little rabbit pictured & I’m excited to say that I finally have a coupe of these critters available for purchase! Because my photography website already had the capability, I’ve put the store up there (appropriately enough under: “Store”)

Right now, just the rabbit & walrus prints are available, but follow along at for future updates (I have a fox, alpaca & raccoon that I’ll be printing soon & plan on creating more artwork in general).

So if you’re looking for some handcrafted, non-Ai art for your home, please check it out. Thanks!!
