Creating beautiful garments inside and out was instilled in me from my very first sewing instructor. She was a beautiful French woman who said, “the items you sew should be so beautiful on the inside that your Lover will pause from making love to you when they catch a glimpse of the inside of your garment laying puddled on the floor”. As an 18 year old, who had been kissed only a handful of times, this had a huge impact on me-I went from the worst sewer to being able to teach sewing for over 20 years! What a joy it has been to share my love of sewing with so many!! Thank you all ❤️!

running induces goofy grins. I was very naughty today and played hooky from work-a much needed break from our Closing Sale! Ran some trails, got a much needed dose of PNW nature and got to reflect on how lucky I am. Thank you all for popping in and shopping and for your well wishes.
