"My journey with Egoscue began in July 2025, when I joined friends for a fitness class. They had described the instructor, Laura Warf, as magical—and they weren’t wrong. I introduced myself before class and mentioned some ongoing pain in my right hip, which I had assumed was the result of a strain several months earlier.
With just one look, Laura could tell I was out of alignment. She noticed that something was going on with my left shoulder as well, pointing out that my shoulders were uneven, my hips were imbalanced, and my feet weren’t straight. She explained that these misalignments were likely contributing to the pain in my right hip.
A few days later, we scheduled a one-on-one session to focus on my posture and alignment. That single session truly felt magical. Laura guided me through a series of very simple exercises and stretches designed to begin correcting my alignment. For the first time in 18 months, I felt genuine hope that I wouldn’t be walking with a permanent limp or an irregular gait because of my hip issues.
