Roar! a book by Cinda Stevens Lonsway and Manon Doyle 05/06/2024

ROAR! Part TWO
As I frantically tried to keep up with the voices, with the rhythm, with the message these women were ROAR!ing in my ear, I wrote, I scribbled, I hoped that I heard them correctly, understood them respectfully, did them justice.

When I was done, I read the words I don't really remember writing. I shared these words, this poem, this parable, this ROAR! with Mavis Nickels, a dear friend and mighty editor and Jack Armstrong, a dear friend and author/channel/transcriber of Lessons from the Source. Jack told me to share it immediately. Without hesitation, I did.

Everything changed in that moment.

ROAR! was being shared.

I watched it multiply and get published on others' pages, blogs, in articles and become a topic of discussion with groups such as The Institute of Noetic Sciences.

I witnessed it get translated into an Asian language. Catherine Anne Clark of A Celebration of Women in Toronto wanted to turn it into a play. Contemporary Shaman Robin Rice asked me to facilitate a workshop around ROAR! when she visited Seattle. Earth2World invited me to host my own internet TV show. Jen Saunders of Wild Sister Magazine asked me to contribute an inspirational article monthly.

Some I accepted, others I didn't. All I appreciated. None of it I could comprehend.

Then, the private messages started flowing in....

More and more women identified with the message of NO MORE! and ENOUGH! Women of all ages, races, religions, and cultures were sharing their stories of how ROAR! gave them permission to speak their truth, raise their voice, stand in their power. Their stories were powerful, inspiriting, life changing....for them....for me....for anyone....for everyone.

ROAR! changed lives in 2010, yet the need for women to come together and ROAR! seems more necessary now.

Do you feel it?

You don't need to read ROAR! to know how to ROAR! just ROAR!

Roar! a book by Cinda Stevens Lonsway and Manon Doyle It began as a whisper...One woman leaning into the ear of another, "Do you feel it?" she asked. Then whispered to another, "Do you feel it?" and it began to spread, this whisper, from one woman to another, to another, whispering, "Do you feel it? Do you feel it?"ROAR! is dedicated to Mother Earth, th...
