Hello Friends and Neighbors. A camera bag with camera and memory cards was left atop a Port-o-pot on the street corner of N. Tioga and N. Central. If this was spotted and or found please contact us directly via private message. We would love to help facilitate the return of this bag to its owner which contains priceless photos. Thank you for reading! 🙏

The St. Johns Parade Committee is proud to present our 2026 Citizen of the Year, Cat Caperello-Snyder!

Cat is a St. Johns community member and the owner of Daydreamer Coffee & Public House, located on the often overlooked end of the neighborhood, on Fessenden Street, across from George Park. Daydreamer opened as a coffee cart in 2018 and now has a food cart, indoor seating with kids and adult beverages alike, neighborhood events and weekly meetups, including two open mics a month and live music every other Friday.

Cat was selected as 2026 COTY for her commitment to building an inclusive space centered on belonging and facilitating real world connections amongst neighbors through art, events, and delicious food. Her community cup program ensures warm beverages are available for folks who may be short on change. She embodies the values of kindness, civic engagement, and community that the Parade is founded on. She’ll be joining us in the Parade on Saturday along with her wife Lisa, her dog Ziggy, and the amazing team from Daydreamer who makes magic every day.

Come out and be sure to give Cat her well deserved flowers! The community of St. Johns wouldn’t be the same without you, Cat!!
