Friendly reminder that secure attachment doesn’t equal perfection.

What do I mean? When are working towards earned secure that doesn’t mean p**f we will be perfect and we will never need to learn another lesson in dating or immediately find our next partner.

Secure attachment/earned secure attachment is about trusting yourself self and knowing that if something doesn’t work out it isn’t because if your lack.

It means you still explore! When a potential partner comes up who seems interesting, you explore getting to know them, you bring up red flags when you see them and determine if it’s a deal breaker or not. When it’s a deal breaker you feel worthy of walking away.

You’ll still get tested as you become more secure. You’ll still have to say no and hold boundaries. You’ll still need to learn lessons. You’ll still get rejected. It will never mean you’re perfect or need to be.

This journey is help you see your inherent truth that you’re a worthy being and worthy of all your desires.
