Here’s to the end of 2025

What did I learn? Life is wonderful and it will show you how to restructure your life. I’m not gonna share photos of all the special moments that happened this year. This year, the biggest thing I did was get married, move into a new home with my husband, figured out where I want to go with my band and sound, and reconnected with my family and got closer to my friends. I also learned what really doesn’t work in my life. One thing I learned was that you should choose what to be open about and what to keep for just yourself. But when you do share, it does allow yourself to bring people together.

So here it goes…
The first six month of my 2025 I was in group therapy for BPD - borderline personality disorder. I was diagnosed in 2023 and finally getting into group therapy was the best thing to set me on track. However I couldn’t tour, I found with my music I had put it on pause from all the life events and inward work I had to do on myself. I found that my progress with my music affected my mental health, I had many breakdowns and in some ways I lost myself. I think I’ve been wearing a mask for a long time and I think it’s time I take it off.

There’s going to be so many times where the thing you love changes and you don’t know what it means to you anymore. I sometimes want to give up daily. Sometimes I just want to become someone else. Sometimes no matter what work I’ve done - I’m back to square one again.

2026 I need to create, I need to put new music out, I need to finish projects, and I need teammates who will join me on this path. I’ve been heading the right direction my whole life. It’s time to chase the damn thing.
